Welcome back to UAsk502!
Today I’m sitting down with Dannell Marshall Sr. — a 24-year member of Local 502 who has lived what most people would consider several full lives before lunch. He played defensive back for the University of Louisville Cardinals. He is an ordained minister. And in 2016, while still working a full career as a pipefitter, he founded Men of Faith Inc. — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on three principles: Preserve. Empower. Restore. Men of Faith mentors men across Louisville, adopts local schools, provides student scholarships, assists the elderly, and builds bridges between men of every background, ethnicity, and belief. And in 2018, Dannell used an overdose reversal kit in a library parking lot to save a stranger’s life while his kids watched. That’s who we’re talking to today.

- How Dannell brings men of all backgrounds together under one mission
- What Dannell wants his brothers in Local 502 to take away from his story
